| Life Purpose |
How many of us are looking towards the future with feelings of apprehension, unsure of our ability to hear where the deeper spiritual impulses in our lives might be pointing us?
I'm guessing that, like me, some of you might be feeling at times these days less than confident of your ability to stay open and really alert to those callings which life presents you with in these challenging times.
The state of the world isn't encouraging. Or is it?
Looking around it's easy to see how doing
"more of the same" inevitably creates "more of the same".
But what is it that we are really longing for?
Here at Findhorn the subject of meaning and purpose never leaves the agenda. Is the world, our society, the models which we live with and have grown up with - in crisis?
Or is it our vision that is failing us, or are we not so inclined to listen deeply inside ourselves to that inner source of all wisdom and resolution, the place sometimes of intuition or impulse which, when we do act from it, feels different, has a different quality of being to it and, sometimes, leads to startling results?
The Life Purpose week is an opportunity to share a week-long investigation into this theme with like-minded others.
During this week we will work together with presence, purpose and intention, and discover how the impulse to live authentically may best be expressed to create meaning and purpose in our lives right now.
Our tools will include the exploration and practice of presence in everyday life, various creative and reflective activities using artwork, movement and time in nature, and the cultivation of inner listening.
This might be the year in which now - more than ever - those of us who are listening have no choice left but to embody the larger potential of our own lives and from that place to make a difference in our world.
This weeklong workshop is run at the Findhorn Foundation, Scotland. Please note that prior participation in the Foundation's Experience Week is a pre-requisite for this workshop.
Online booking, together with pricing details and dates, is available via the Foundation's website at Findhorn Foundation
